Welcome to Building Blocks with Sharyn Craig! A 12 Month Pattern Series PHASE 1 Patterns # 1 - 12 Get your quilting tools ready to build these versitle 9-patch blocks designed by Sharyn Craig! These 9-Patch blocks all finish as a 9" square and can easily be constructed with a rotary cutter and ruler. Or you can choose to build them with templates or pattern pieces. This set includes all 12 blocks released during Phase 1. To complete the blocks, all you need is either 36 fat eighths or 18 fat quarters of coordinating fabrics + 1 ½ yards of background fabric. In fact, that’s more than enough fabric! Tip: the background doesn’t have to be cream or white. We used gold in our red and blue blocks and red in our black and white blocks. Did you notice that our picture of the block isn't colored in? That's because Sharyn wants you to decide what goes where - make it how YOU want it! You get to pick how many fabrics you use in the block, where you want a particular fabric, and what portion of the block YOU want to feature. We know this sounds scary, but we promise, it's fun, exciting, rewarding, and there are absolutely now wrong answers! Try building your blocks using our Building Blocks Templates!
